Meet your therapist:

My name is Jessica Gilbert and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist™, and EMDR Trained Clinician.  I have extensive experience working in schools, community residential programs, and in private practice.

A Well Rounded Approach…

I have a passion for helping children, teens and young adults become empowered in finding their voice and developing ways to express themselves. My work with parents and caregivers helps them discover ways to navigate communicating and strengthening their relationships with their children. With adults, I'm here to help you develop healthy relationships, create positive boundaries, manage stress, and overcome self-criticism.

My experience includes treating clients with social/emotional struggles, learning and developmental disabilities, complex trauma and behavioral issues. I use evidence based therapies with an affirming, client centered focus. I have experience in working with children that have been adopted and in foster care.

Representation is so important when it comes to mental health and I have a background in working with diverse populations of clients including multicultural, LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent individuals. I strive to create a safe space so that individuals can feel seen and heard.

I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Family & Child Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Social Work both from Florida State University.
